A total of 33 members comprise the manufacturers Division of the Chamber. These companies continue to play an active part in the development of the Chamber. Monthly meetings are held by the Division’s Council, as well as monthly luncheon meetings for the general membership. These luncheons provide a platform for discussion of issues and concerns affecting the sector and, when necessary, guest speakers are invited to address the Division on matters of importance to manufacturing.

Manufacturing Awareness Week continues to be the major annual event being hosted by the Division. Last year the week of activities was celebrated from April 23- 28, 2002. Some 16 companies participated in the event that was complete with a sporting competition, plant tours, a special luncheon, slogan competition and employee of the year recognition. Of the participating plants three were non- members.
